Description

This classic Orvis Gear Bag is an older model but unused. Great for travel and/or boat. Inside dimension about 15 X 10 inches, has one large compartment – no dividers and is basically waterproof when top flap is zippered shut. Top flap has holder for single rod tube. Bottom is semi-rigged and had tabs to keep bag dry if surface it is on is wet. It has five zippered outside pockets (top, front and sides). All zippers are plastic so no corrosion. Shoulder strap no longer with it but easily replaced.

This is a large bag and holds a pile of gear.  I used an earlier model of this bag for years to hold all my flies and extra equipment when fishing the Elizabeth Islands from an open skiff.  It finally had one too many saltwater dunkings, but I still use it now to hold all my Atlantic Salmon stuff going back and forth from home to camp.  It really is a terrific and handsome bag  that you may be able to buy for the right price in this auction!
